"We were electric. The crowd was electric. He feels fine now, but we have to make sure that he's OK".
Week 5 of the season will the Seahawks moving on to battle the Rams while the Colts will hit the road for a game against San Francisco' 49ers. The Colts will be heading into one of the league's toughest environments at raucous CenturyLink Field when they pay a visit to the Seattle Seahawks in prime time on Sunday night. However, they turned it on in the second half as usual, and pulled out a big 46-18 win in the process.
"That's the Russell we like, " said receiver Doug Baldwin.
"It took us a while again and you can ask me all those questions why and whatever".
Brissett was 16 of 29 for 157 yards, one touchdown and one interception. However, he'll undoubtedly be sharing the backfield with J.D. McKissic - who totaled 65 yards and two scores on five touches Sunday - not to mention C.J. Prosise (ankle), who could be back in action as soon as this week. Wilson's 23-yard scrambling touchdown in Sunday's third quarter came on a 3rd-an-10, and began the avalanche of second-half points for the home team.
"When you see the end zone sometimes you have to find a way to get in there".
It took awhile for the Hawks to get going.
Indianapolis could barely stay on the field offensively in the second half.
Seahawks rookie running back Chris Carson will be out for a prolonged period of time with a leg fracture below the knee, head coach Pete Carroll said Monday on 710 ESPN Seattle's Brock and Salk. "At halftime, you couldn't tell".
Carson was carted off the field after going down midway through the fourth quarter when he was tackled for no gain. "I'm a lucky guy to have that happen to me tonight". Both sides of the ball played well. "We just have to move on from it, learn from it". In the third quarter, Wilson scrambled away from pressure on third-and-10 and found Tyler Lockett for 41 yards. Carson leads Seattle with 49 carries on the season.
"It kind of snowballed on us and got out of hand", safety Darius Butler said.
"Don't get me wrong: He's always calm, cool and collected". It's from other guys. It's what we give to our offense from the defensive side and to the defense from the offensive side, and everyone else. Now, after yet another second half slump, the question becomes when will things change? Carroll said the team will be very cautious before putting him back in action. That's even considering Eddie Lacy will get some increased reps with the injury.
"And I forgot to celebrate with the team", McKissic said. He just hadn't had his shot yet.
