IPhones galore - Highlights from Apple's iPhone 8/X event

Apple's new LTE Enabled Watch will not work in different country. Practically speaking, there was no noticeable change.

Health insurers like Aetna are subsidizing the cost of Apple Watches, in an attempt to better understand how people will need medical services.

What will get noticed?

The Apple Watch Series 3 is the newest version of Apple's wearable. Apple's own Jeff Williams shared how engineers have turned the display of the Apple Watch Series 3 into an antenna system, all while keeping case the same size as the Series 2. Things are also snappier when talking to Siri, which suffered from some considerable lag on older Watches. Its small screen and relative lack of streaming options means that most users probably won't need high-speed internet for it to function quickly. Calls on the wrist are, quite frankly, awkward.

The big question will be: How good are the normal iPhones compared with the premium one?

While calls are useful proof of cell connection, they aren't really what connecting a watch to an LTE network is all about.

The Apple Watch 3 starts at $329 (£329) with a 38mm sport band and no cellular support, and runs $399 or £399 if you opt for the LTE data feature.

The Californian firm unleashed the brand new gadgets at a glittering ceremony held in its new "spaceship" headquarters - but how do you get your hands on them?

You love your lossless music, don't you? There is no other logic behind Apple launching such an expensive phone in India and hoping to attract a lot of buyers. & you know @TMobile will carry it!

-Any indication whether a data plan for Apple Watch 3 will be necessary to take advantage of cellular connectivity features? Sprint has said it will support the Watch, but it hasn't said for how much.

I can understand if the word "refurbished" puts you off, but my experience with refurbished Apple products from Apple's Refurbished Mac Store has been overwhelmingly positive.

"Boost Mobile strives to provide its customers with the latest and greatest mobile phones, and iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are just that", said Angela Rittgers, Chief Marketing Officer, Boost Mobile.

The Apple Watch Series 3 Global Positioning System only variant will be available in India for a starting price of Rs 29,990 with a simple sports band.
