Police said the composite drawing is the result of information received during the course of the continuing investigation.
The bodies of 14-year-old Liberty German and 13-year-old Abigail Williams were found more than five months ago on February 14, a day after they disappeared from the hiking trail where one of the girls' family members had dropped them off for the afternoon. Police ask that you focus on the facial features of the man in the sketch. The eye color is unknown, but according to one witness, his eyes are not blue. This sketch depicts a hat that might not be accurate. Photo and sketch courtesy Indiana State Police.
"We've got the information out there, the pictures out there, now we've got this composite that we feel it is the same person and we just want to make sure that people realize this picture is this person", Riley said.
No arrests have been made in the slayings and authorities have not disclosed how the girls were killed. A man's voice can be heard saying "down the hill" on the recording, which was played several times during a press conference in February.
A reward in excess of $230,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the double homicide.
Search volunteers found the girls' bodies near the Delphi Historic Trail the next day.
