Cosby has repeatedly denied all of the allegations against him. It shows her shooting a mini-basketball into a hoop to the tune of "Sweet Georgia Brown", the theme song of the Harlem Globetrotters.
The jury has paused deliberations a half-dozen times to revisit key evidence, including Cosby's decade-old admissions that he fondled Constand after giving her pills.
Prosecutors say Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted Constand, a former Temple University employee, at his Pennsylvania home in January 2004. His lawyer has said they were lovers sharing a consensual sexual encounter. "That does not mean that a verdict that takes several days will be a good thing for him, but if the jury takes time deliberating that means they are discussing reasonable doubt and if they can believe the complainant".
He did not take the stand in his sexual assault trial. "And this deadlock shows the not guilty that Mr. Cosby has been trying to bring about".
Fifty-eight women have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct, though only Constand's case has ended up in criminal court. She read a prayer before telling Cosby's supporters what she says he did to her.
Cosby, on the other hand, has appeared nearly serene, exhibiting no outward sign of fatigue, frustration or impatience. "If you've reached a unanimous decision on some of the charges, please report that back to me", O'Neill said. She got the show tickets because her family loved Cosby, and she hadn't yet told them about the alleged assault.
The three charges accuse Cosby of assaulting Constand without her consent, assaulting her when she was unconscious and assaulting her using drugs to substantially impair her ability to consent.
Two of them pertain to wanting to review what Cosby said and another two are about the testimony of his accuser, Andrea Constand.
In court, O'Neill read a charge to the jury: "Each of you has a duty to consult with one another and to deliberate with a view to reaching an agreement". After 31 hours of deliberations, jurors said they were deadlocked.
But the 12-member jury informed the court after almost 30 hours of deliberations that they were still unable to reach a unanimous decision. Moments after the jury was sent back for another try at reaching a verdict, Cosby walked out of the courtroom on the arm of his publicist.
Cosby is charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault. The note said: "We can not come to a unanimous consensus on any of the counts". Constand says Cosby gave her pills that made her woozy, then violated her. This was the only case to result in criminal charges against Cosby.
The sequestered jury broke for the night at 9 p.m. EDT Wednesday after meeting for 12 hours on the fourth day of deliberations.
Steele announced the charges against Cosby on December 30, 2015, just before the 12-year statute of limitations expired to file charges.
